PERMISSION GRANTED ! September 2025 permission has been granted for this built-for-purpose sports complex in Ballinrobe, south Mayo. We are delighted to look forward to the next stage of tendering and construction with the Club and Community for this facility.
Our clients in Ballinrobe Town, Mayo very much need to expand from their existing single-pitch facilities, currently sharing a clubhouse with the Rugby club. Planning Workshop have worked with them to develop concept drawings, public consultations and current planning application to Mayo County Council for this development proposal. Comprising of: 1 full size grass pitch. 1 full size astro pitch. 1 mini-astro (7v). In addition a 370m2 purpose built clubhouse facility and 90 car parking spaces, with a focus on sustainable pedestrian and cycle access routes.
